About our Main Hall
During term-time, the main hall will accommodate academic classes for the following courses – Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Coaching Science & Sports Pedagogy, Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Sport & Exercise Management and Bachelor of Business in Recreation & Leisure Management. MTU Sports Clubs such as Basketball, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, MMA, Karate, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Boxing, Soccer, Badminton and Ultimate Frisbee will also use the Hall.
Our Offerings
The venue is also available for hire for external Sporting Events, Concerts, Events and Conferences and can accommodate up to 1200 people seated.
Arena Main Hall
The main hall consists of:
- 1 full sized Basketball Court with bleacher seating
- 2 full sized Basketball Courts
- 8 Badminton Courts
- 2 Premier sized Volleyball Courts
- 1 Futsal Court
The venue hire costs are as follows (per hour):
- Half Court €50
- Half Court with Bleacher Seating €70
- Full Court €100
- Full Court with Bleacher Seating €140
