Munster Technological University (MTU) is proud to announce the graduation of 2,652 students during its Autumn 2024 Cork Campus Conferring ceremonies.

Three days of ceremonies are being held at the MTU Arena on the Bishopstown campus from October 30 to November 1, following a ceremony at MTU Cork School of Music on October 24.

Last week, 580 graduates also received their degrees at MTU’s Kerry North Campus in Tralee, bringing the total number of degrees awarded across MTU in Autumn 2024 to an impressive 3,232.

In a testament to the international diversity of MTU, there are 95 different nationalities featuring among the University’s graduates at the Cork ceremonies. The awards being presented include 23 PhD degrees and one Honorary Doctorate. Four students will also be honoured with posthumous awards. Graduates come from a wide array of disciplines, including Mechanical, Electrical and Process Engineering; Building and Civil Engineering; Science and Informatics; Humanities; Business; Fine Art and Applied Art; Music and Theatre; and Media Communications.

For graduates unable to attend the live ceremonies, their awards are being conferred in absentia, with parchments mailed out in November.
